Patients may ask for a chaperone during their consultation with either a doctor or a nurse. If you require a one please let reception know, ideally, when you are booking your appointment so we can make sure there is one available for you. You can bring a friend or relative with you to act as a chaperone for you if you would feel more comfortable with this.
A doctor or nurse may also request a chaperone for certain examinations – this will usually be a member of the administration team.
